Of Driving & Barb Wires

Lots of shooting around yesterday's noon, and it was close...

We didn't know who shot who, and why.

A certain parameter in the area has been closed for some days now with barbwire or concrete bricks.

It is bothersome when you drive, because you end up doing long curves to pass a normal day couple of hundred yards/meters. Again, nobody provides answers, as usual.

Today I went to downtown Baghdad; it was relatively calm, although there were some big demonstrations against the elections results.

I stayed inside Baghdad for some 4 hours before returning home on the west side of the river.
