Anousheh Ansari

Hello All,

Yesterday, the Iranian born American space tourist Anousheh Ansari have returned to Earth after a 10-day mission aboard the Russian Soyuz TMA 9, and the Int'l Space Station (ISS).

I was so happy to read about this journey, and to see such a beautiful dream come true.

I would like to share with you this link to her space blog which you can visit by clicking here .

I encourage you to read all of the postings, they are all nice!

Also i would like to share with you this CNN story on 25 Sep. 2006.

Finally, there is this fun program that enables you to see the ISS passing times over your hometown, whether if it was in the early morning or evening. You can visit its homepage at: http://www.stoff.pl/ , along with many pretty cool features.

Anyway, enjoy your time, and talk to you soon!

In Suli...

Oh, well!

Hello again! And so sorry for the delay. I have been so very busy (and still am) for the past 2-3 weeks. As you recall from the last posting (dated 6 Sep. addressing 21 Aug.) I flew to Sulaimaniya in Iraqi Kurdistan. Well, I flew back to Baghdad for some business, then flew back a week afterwards to Sulaimaniya again, but that doesn’t give me any status with the good ol’ (or we could say bad ol’) Iraqi Airways. The don’t have the frequent flyer thingy, they don’t have computerized reservations, and they have stupid managers and clever employees at some offices. Oh, and did I mention the change of schedule, unannounced, 2 hours before take off!

Yes, I flew to Erbil instead of Sulaimaniya because they just decided to cancel the Sulaimaniya flight for some unknown reason! It was a nice drive though to be honest, under moon lit skies and all!

Anyway, after this short note, I leave you in peace, until the next posting!
